Robert O'Sullivan

Robert J. O'Sullivan, 84, of Shirley, N.Y passed away 8/17/25, after a valiant battle with cancer.



Bob was born in Manhattan, New York to William and Pauline O'Sullivan. He is survived by his three siblings Edward(Eddie), Maureen and Pauline, predeceased by brothers Emmet and William (Billy); his devoted wife Milagros O'Sullivan, his children Bobby, Kat, Erin and Christopher, predeceased by David just this year; his 12 grandchildren and great granddaughter Aly, his stepchildren Christina and Antonio, and granddaughter Emilia.



Bob served in the Navy, was an NYPD Detective and devout Catholic.



He was loved by family and friends alike. He was a devoted husband and great father and will be truly missed.



He loved with all of his heart, especially his grandchildren and great granddaughter, and puppies Thor & Athena.



He loved to make people laugh & smile, and did so effortlessly. That is his legacy.
