Michael D. Ferland

Michael was a caring and gentle soul, taken from us far too young. While his time here was not as long as we hoped, it was filled with love, laughter, and moments that will stay with us forever. Mike found joy in simple pleasures watching It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and The Office, cooking a good risotto, and sharing a well-timed dad joke that could lighten even the heaviest moment.
Above all else, Mike loved his family. He was especially proud of being “Funcle” to his niece, Theodora, and his nephew, Henry, a role he embraced with warmth, humor, and endless affection. Life was not always easy for Mike, but he met challenges with kindness and resilience. He had a way of making people feel seen offering a genuine compliment, noticing the little things, and reminding those around him how much they mattered.
Mike will forever be loved and deeply missed by the family and friends he leaves behind. His humor, his heart, and his gentle presence will continue to live on in our memories and in the love we carry forward for him.
