Lila Marie Andresen

Lila Marie Andresen, 72, of Yaphank, passed away peacefully on December 27, at home, surrounded by her loving family. Lila was born on December 28, 1952 to Hans and Gladys Lian Andresen. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend known for her kindness, generosity and love of her family.

She is survived by her beloved Christopher Wall of 30 years. Her daughters, Meredith Gaponoff (William) and Lindsay Mongiello (Anthony), her grandchildren, Alexander (18), Elin Marie(13), Anthony(10), Kristian(9), and Lena Grace(6), her brother Norman Andresen (Linda) of Ocklawaha, Florida, and his children Norman, Kristen, and Rebecca. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Ronald.

Lila was a source of love and warmth to everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
