In Loving Memory of Eugene J. Hall
Eugene J. Hall, 79, was born on March 15, 1947, in Brooklyn, New York, to the late John and
Elizabeth Hall.
Eugene married his beloved wife, Cora Hall, on March 13, 1992. They shared 34 years
together, building a life filled with love, family, and cherished memories.
He was a proud father to Gene Hall Jr. (Kerri), Michele Hall, Donna Miller, Dennis DeLoach
(Sarah), and Brian DeLoach. He was also a loving and devoted Poppy to Ryan, Aidan, Ashley,
Keith, Sophia, Audrey, and Rocky, who brought tremendous joy and pride to his life.
Eugene proudly served his country as a United States Marine, Private E-1, during the Vietnam
War. Throughout his military service, he received numerous medals and commendations,
including the Purple Heart, recognizing his bravery and sacrifice for his country.
Following his military service, Eugene continued his life of service as a decorated police officer
with the Old Brookville Police Department in New York. His dedication to protecting and serving
others was a testament to the man he was—strong, courageous, and committed to his
community.
Eugene will be remembered most of all for his love of family, his dedication to his country and
community, and the many lives he touched throughout his journey. His legacy will live on
through his wife, children, grandchildren, family, friends, and all who had the privilege of
knowing him.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eugene’s memory to the Tunnels to Towers
Foundation, honoring his lifelong commitment to service, sacrifice, and helping others.
