In Loving Memory of Carolyn J. Parks
With profound sadness and enduring love, we announce the passing of Carolyn J. Parks—a woman of
faith, love, and unwavering devotion to the Lord. She was a beacon of light, a source of wisdom, and a
steadfast pillar of strength for all who had the privilege of knowing her.
On the morning of Friday, February 21, 2025, the Lord called Carolyn home, in the presence of her loving
niece. Throughout her final days, her hospital room was filled with family, friends, and members of the
community whose lives she had touched—a true testament to the profound impact she had on those
around her. Though our hearts are heavy, we rejoice in knowing that she now rests in the glory of
Heaven, reunited with her Savior, free of pain, and surrounded by everlasting peace.
Carolyn was a Woman of God, accepting the Lord at the tender age of nine years old and devoting the
rest of her life to serving Him. Her faith was unshakable, guiding her through life with grace, strength,
and an abiding trust in God’s plan. She poured her heart into ministry, tirelessly spreading His Word and
offering comfort to those in need. Through her love, her wisdom, and her servant’s heart, she
exemplified what it truly means to walk in faith.
A cherished sister, aunt, godmother, and true friend, Carolyn’s love knew no bounds. She nurtured
those around her with warmth and compassion (including animals of all species), making everyone feel
like family. She was not only a mentor and role model, but also a joyful spirit, known for her quick wit,
infectious laughter, and amazing memory. Her stories—woven with humor, wisdom, and a sparkle in her
eye—brought joy to all who heard them and will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
Carolyn’s legacy of faith, kindness, and unwavering love will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
She is survived by her beloved nieces and nephews: Kevin Peterman, Robert Peterman, Linda Peterman,
James Peterman, and Diane Peterman; as well as her cherished great-nieces and nephews: Erin Notaro,
Brian Peterman, Alicia Peterman, Ryan Peterman, Breanna Peterman, and Kevin J. Peterman.
Though our hearts grieve, we find peace in the promise of eternity. Carolyn fought the good fight,
finished the race, and kept the faith (2 Timothy 4:7). Now, she stands before her Savior, embraced by
His infinite love, hearing the words she devoted her life to: "Well done, good and faithful servant." She
has traded the trials of this world for the glory of Heaven, walking the streets of gold, where sorrow is
no more and joy knows no end. Carolyn is finally home, resting in the presence of the Lord she so
faithfully served.
Rest in peace, Carolyn. Your love and laughter will never be forgotten. Until we meet again in His
Kingdom.
