Barbara Groody-Campo

Barbara Madeleine Groody-Campo (maiden name Stelli) was born in the Bronx, NY on February 20th, 1938 and passed away in Port Jefferson, NY on August 17th, 2025. She is survived by her 3 loving children, 5 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild and she was sadly predeceased by an additional 2 grandchildren.

Barbara had a zest for life and was an accomplished dancer and storyteller. She was a devoted mother, sister, wife, grandmother, and friend. Her family will remember her for her loving kindness and infectious laugh. She always had a kind word to say or a hilarious joke to tell and she was a constant source of love and support throughout the many wonderful years she spent raising her family. She will be missed terribly and her family is deeply grateful for the time they had with her. She was the orchid that fed our souls.
